Sorry to bother you guys but there’s been something I’ve been meaning to talk about for a while regarding art on tumblr.
Please do not remove an artist’s comments when you reblog their art!! unu
I’ve noticed that this has been happening more often lately with my art. At first, it didn’t bother me too much because I am used to rambling when I post my art and I don’t really say anything important under the artwork. But if I took time and effort to write something out, please do not remove it.
Doing that kinda feels like if I presented a drawing to someone and then tried to describe the meaning of it, but then the person roundhouse kicked me in the face and ran away with the drawing
If you don’t care for what I’ve written when you reblog my art, I’d rather you didn’t reblog it at all. Of course, I don’t mean to say that you shouldn’t reblog things you want to, but I ask that you please take the feelings of the op into consideration when you decide that you want to remove their comments..
